Let's acquire some knowledge about Triangles
A triangle is a polygon with three edges and three vertices. It is one of the basic shapes in geometry. A triangle with vertices A, B, and C is denoted ABC.
In Euclidean geometry, any three points, when non-collinear, determine a unique triangle.
In this example, there are 3 non-linear points named A, B and C which are the vertices of ABC. Triangles have 3 edges named AB, BC and CA respectively. The naming can be interchangeable i.e. an edge AB could also be referred as edge BA. In this example, we observe that the dimensions of this triangle are:-
- AB = 3.27 units
- BC = 4.74 units
- CA = 4.48 units
Each triangle comprises of 3 angles. They are referred as follows:-
- ABC orCBA orB = 65°
- BCA orACB orC = 41.38°
- CAB orBAC orA = 73.62°
